Avidity Science Expands Biomedical Research Portfolio with the Completion of its Fifth Add-on Acquisition

The Partners of ShoreView are pleased to announce that Avidity Science, a ShoreView portfolio company, has acquired Lab Products.  The acquired business includes the following divisions:  Bio Medic Data Systems, Hydropac®, Lab Products, Inc., and Harford Systems.

ShoreView invested in Avidity Science in 2016, and the acquisition represents the fifth add-on completed during ShoreView’s ownership. The acquired companies provide a variety of state-of-the-art products in water purification, life science research project monitoring, and complementary vivarium systems.

Avidity Science is a worldwide leader in water purification systems and research tools used by universities, research facilities, life science companies, and government agencies to assist in biomedical research. Each of the five acquisitions have grown Avidity Science’s product offering and expanded the platform’s geographic presence.
