Monroe Engineering Completes Fourth Add-on Acquisition
The Partners of ShoreView are pleased to announce that Monroe Engineering Holdings, LLC (“Monroe”), a ShoreView portfolio company, has acquired DiCon Connections.
DiCon Connections is a value-added supplier of custom cable and wire harness solutions, primarily serving original equipment manufacturers of building control systems. DiCon Connections assembles custom harnesses, cables, multi-conductor cables, and connectors at its headquarters in North Branford, CT. The company’s custom products are integrated into fire monitoring, security, lighting, and other niche applications. The acquisition further expands Monroe’s growing cable division, which was launched in late 2018, and adds to Monroe’s assembly capabilities.
Based in Rochester Hills, MI, Monroe is a supplier of a broad portfolio of custom and standard hardware and component products for original equipment manufacturers. ShoreView invested in Monroe in November 2017, and the acquisition of DiCon Connections is the fourth add-on completed during ShoreView’s ownership. Each of the four acquisitions have grown the platform’s product offering, expanded Monroe’s geographic presence, and added management depth.
