ShoreView Announces Sale of its Stake in MI Windows and Doors, LLC
ShoreView is pleased to announce the sale of its minority stake in MIWD to the company’s management team. ShoreView partnered with the management team to buy the business from its parent, JT Walker Industries, Inc. in 2013. Since that time, ShoreView and management have worked together to improve the company’s manufacturing capability, introduce new products and expand its customer base.
As MIWD transitioned to a standalone company, ShoreView and management worked to implement new systems and strengthen its leadership team. During ShoreView’s investment period, the company moved its Texas operations, into a state of the art facility.
These actions, combined with a targeted sales, marketing and product development strategy, allowed the company to capitalize on a growing end-market across its national footprint, and leave it well-positioned to provide high-quality products with excellent lead-times to its customers.
